The basics
- After every wave there's a shop. Spend your coins on upgrades.
- Every fifth wave is a boss, alone.
- Level up to earn Points for the Skill tree. Those upgrades stay with you between runs.
- Sometimes the Devil offers a deal: big power for a while, at a price.
- Campaign is 40 waves. Endless never ends.
Online co-op
Play with a friend anywhere. On the main menu choose Online co-op.
Host a game: you get a 6-digit code. Send it to your friend.
Join a game: type your friend's code.
Your friend picks the world and the mode. Coins you pick up pay both of you; you each shop on your own screen.
If one of you goes down, the other stands next to them to pick them up.
Pausing (or switching apps on a phone) pauses the game for both of you.
Can't connect? Usually one of you is on phone data or a strict network (school, office). Try both on home Wi-Fi. The Check my connection button on the Online co-op screen tests your device.
Wave Battler plays on a computer (keyboard or controller) or on a phone turned sideways (touch controls).
