In Mole Holes, the jigsaw pictures are the long goal. Every four moles you tickle earns one piece, and the pieces fill 12 hand-made clay pictures, each starring a mole. This page lists all 12 in the order they unlock, how many pieces each one has, and what is in each picture, so you can tell your child what is coming next. If you are new to the game, start with the parents' guide.

How pieces are earned

  • 4 tickles = 1 piece. The bar at the top shows 0/4 to 4/4. It keeps its count between rounds, so stopping at 3/4 is fine.
  • Rainbow moles have marbled rainbow fur and a twinkle. About 1 pop in 20 is a rainbow mole while there are still pieces left to win. It stays up a bit longer than a normal mole, and one tickle gives a whole piece right away. The normal 0/4 bar is not touched.
  • Pieces go in order. Each new piece belongs to the first picture that still has pieces to win. A message tells you which one, for example "New piece · Space Mole".
  • Inside a picture, pieces arrive mixed up. They don't come left to right, so the picture fills in from different spots.

All 12 pictures together have 206 pieces. Without any rainbow moles that is 824 tickles, so the shelf lasts a long time. The early pictures are short on purpose, so the first win comes fast.

Placing pieces on the board

  1. 1

    Go to My Puzzles

From the home screen press 🧩 My Puzzles, or during play tap the pieces counter at the top.

  2. 2

    Choose a gold-ringed card

A gold ring and a badge mean that picture has pieces waiting to be placed.

  3. 3

    Pick, then tap

Tap a coloured piece in a side tray. It lights up gold. Then tap its spot on the faded picture.

  4. 4

    Snap or wobble

The right spot snaps it in with a sparkle. A wrong spot wobbles the board and the piece stays picked.

  5. 5

    Finish it

When the last piece goes in, a bigger tune plays with confetti and "Puzzle finished!". The card shows Finished ⭐.

You don't have to place pieces straight away. They wait on the shelf for as long as you like. Some kids like to collect a pile first and place them all at once. The 🐹 Get pieces button on the puzzle screen goes straight back to tickling.

Keeping progress safe

Mole Holes saves the shelf, the 0/4 bar, the speed and the number of holes in the browser after every tickle and every placed piece. Come back tomorrow on the same device and browser, and everything is where you left it. If a new picture is ever added, old progress is kept. The only way to wipe it is ↺ Start over on the home screen, which asks first. Other games on the site are listed on the how to play page.
